Bender made their national debut March 28th with the release of Jehovah's Hitlist via TVT Records, but not before introducing themselves to their label at a New York City showcase at Mercury Lunge. Hailing from Milwaukee - notice frontman Kent Boyce's tool belt, used during shows to hold his beer - the quartet hammers with a hard rock bravado that will please today's most finnicky rock fans. Bassist Tim Cook, guitarist Matt Scerpella and drummer Steve Adams are a dynamic force, while Boyce takes the sound to the next level, propelling the music with a delivery that pushes to atmospheric heights and bleeds with the passion of Soundgarden at their loudest and heaviest.
